Marbank Construction has been awarded the £18 million contract to design and construct an extension to North London’s Florentia Clothing Village.
One of the largest value projects ever undertaken by Marbank, the expansion involves construction of four new light industrial blocks, totalling 9,948 sqm of commercial floor space, that would deliver an ‘industrial village’ complementing the existing create workspace and maker units for SMEs at Florentia.
Construction on the scheme – at Vale Road in the London Borough of Haringey – is already underway. It will provide new public realm and landscaping in and around the site, as well as enhancing the existing transport strategy at the clothing village by making use of a new one-way system and encouraging sustainable transport modes.
Marbank Construction Ltd is a specialist Design & Build company, operating in the warehousing, logistics and industrial market, founded over 25 years ago. The company is supporting the LAST MILE conference and its team will be attending on the day.
